Yes, there is a whole month left in 2008, but i dont give a shit. List, in your opinion, albums that got overlooked, passed up, or just flat out missed, that people should listen to.

Mine are:

UpCDownCLeftCRightCABC+Start -Embers

Amazing post-rock album that is chaotic, beautiful, and emotional. Please check it out, even if you are not a post-rock fan.

10 Years - Division

If you have never heard of 10 Years, they have been around for some years and are cut from the same cloth as Tool, Chevelle, but a bit more subtle...kinda like Rishloo. If yo have never heard them, go check them out (ignore the "post-grunge" label...not the case).

I know it's not under-rated in here, but to the rest of the world-- And i'll say it now, currently my favorite bad out there, period; Lydia - Illuminate.

It [this band] just fit's my musical interests to a tee.

I pick it over all else.

Rise Against "Appeal to Reason" What else can be said? They keep improving every time out.

The Verve 'Forth" Dope English one hit wonder band from the 90's still putting out sick shit influenced by pshycedellia.

Metallica "Death magnetic" As close to vintage Metallica as these guys are ever gonna get again. Embrace it.

Filter "Anthems for the Damned" Finally an all around solid album from Filter, and it's a shame that most of there fans are gone

10 years and chevelle should never be mentioned in the same sentence as tool
