I was surprised by Winky's performance, he has a solid game goin on. Mosley seemed like he lost confidence early in the fight, he might have been frustrated that he couldn't get his body-shots in to win the rounds like he usually does.

B-hop and De La Hoya is gonna be sick tho! And i'd love to see Vargas and Winky go at it again.

HATS OFF TO WINKIE... HE FINALLY PROVED HE IS A BETTER FIGHTER THAN ALOT OF THE CATS WHO HAVE BEEN REGARDED AS BETTER FIGHTERS... THIS FIGHT PROVED WHY SO MANY BOXERS HAVE BEEN AVOIDING HIM LIKE THE PLAGUE. WHO WANTS A WHOOPIN LIKE THIS AT THE TAIL END OF THEIR CAREERS OR EVEN EARLIER. MIGGIDY... IF HE BEAT MOSELY SO DECISVIELY... WHAT DO YOU THINK THE GOLDEN BOY WOULD DO.... HE'D BEAT OSCAR TO A PULP. TRINIDAD IS NEXT AND WILL BE EXPOSED FOR ONLY BEING A PUNCHER. I LIKE TITO, BUT I DON'T THINK ANYONE WOULD GIVE WINKIE A PROBLEM EXCEPT HOPKINS ANYBODY HEAVIER. I WANNA SEE HIM WHOOP VARGAS AGAIN.

Yeah we see why De La Hoya has been ducking and dogding. Winky is a good fighter. He took it to Moseley. I think Moseley is done as a top ranked fighter though.

Mac,

De La Hoya might just end up fighting Winky if he's to get by Hopkins.
I don't see Winky whoopin him cuz they are both boxers. It would be a close fight with the winner being the one who throws combinations.
As far as a rematch with Vargas, it should be a good fight but I don't think it will be a whoopin since Winky was too scared to open up the first time they faught. It would probably be more of the same.

Winky's fighting Mosley again, it's mandatory. But he should move up in weight and challange the winner between Oscar and Hopkins.
Vargas is probably going to fight Jermain Taylor. Good fight but I think Taylor's not ready for a fight like that yet.

And for those who say Mosley ain't the same, I have to disagree.
The reason why Mosley doesn't look like himself is because he's fighting people who match up well against his style. He'll do ok as long as he stays away from fighting boxers. It's no coincedence that a good boxer like Forrest beat him. De La Hoya gave him trouble in the rematch by outboxing him and so did Winky. Mosley's a lot like Trinidad, them cats can't fight good jabbin and deffensive fighters....

Miggidy, I seen that fight back like 99 and Winky whopped Vargas. Vargas is done. Too young and too many losses by knockout. I think Mosely maybe done too because he's not firing combos like he did before he fought Forrest.

Winky probably would whoop De La Hoya. And De La Hoya is going to get whooped by Hopkins if Hopkins' age hasn't caught up with him.

Opinions are opinions but the majority of the fans saw Vargas steal the fight in the championship rounds.

As for Winky whoopin Oscar, not a chance. He is not a puncher, he is a boxer. Style wise it is impossible for him to whoop another boxer of De La Hoya's caliber.

As for Hopkins, yeah he has a good chance of whoopin Oscar. Not for his skills, but by his size advantage alone....
Either way, it's going to be a great fight. I can't wait....

I think what would be coo, is if Winky was to fight Trinidad and the winner facing the winner of Hopkins VS De La Hoya.
Personally, Winky would school the shit out of Trinidad. Not because Trinidad has lost anything, but because Tito's style suits Winky's boxing style perfectly....

Here's my prediction, if Winky is to fight Tito and if he beats him.
De La Hoya will retire fighting him in December if he is to get by Hopkins.
My prediction for De La Hoya VS Wright would be that De La Hoya wins a fairly close fight on points. A fight where Winky's gonna have trouble landing clean punches on De La Hoya.
And De La Hoya having the same problem hittin him, the difference will be that De La Hoya will connect with a few combinations, and that will be the difference. Very much like how Vargas beat Winky....

MIGGIDY... HERE'S MY PREDICTION... OSCAR CAN NOT BEAT ANY OF THE TOP FIGHTERS... I THINK FIRST DE LA HOYA WILL LOSE TO HOPKINS BY A WIDE MARGIN. DE LA HOYA'S CHIN AND BODY WILL NOT LAST AGAINST THE PUNISHMENT. I THINK DE LA HOYA WILL EVENTUALLY FIGHT WINKY AND FINALLY BE EXPOSED FOR BEING THE OVERRATED FIGHTER HE IS. HE HAS NEVER BEAT ANY OF THE TOP RATED FIGHTERS IN THEIR PRIME. AT LEAST GIVE ME THAT MIG... HE BEAT ALL OF THE BEST ONCE THEY WERE PAST THEIR PRIME, SIMILAR TO A OVERRATED LENNOX WHO WOULD NOT HAVE LASTED AGAINST ANY OF THE TOP HEAVYWEIGHTS HAD HE FOUGHT THEM IN THEIR PRIME.

BACK TO DE LA HOYA, A GOOD FIGHTER BUT FAR FROM ANY POUND FOR POUND CATEGORIES. HE ONLY HAS THE MARKETING MONEY BEHIND HIM. HIS CAREER HAS BEEN CAREFULLY GUIDED AND KEPT AWAY FROM CATS LIKE WINKY WHO WOULD HURT ANY OF THE TOP FIGHTERS CAREERS. I GIVE HIM CREDIT FOR FIGHTING THE LIKES OF MOSELY AND TRINIDAD AND EVEN QUARTEY. IN EACH FIGHT HE LOST, BUT HE IS A MARKETING MACHINE WORTH MORE THAN THREE OF THE BEST FIGHTERS COMBINED (AS FAR AS MARKET WORTH)... WINKY WILL BEAT DE LA HOYA DECISIVELY. DE LA HOYA HAS NO ADVANTAGES OVER HIM. WINKY IS DYING FOR THAT FIGHT THE MOST. HE'LL BE READY WHEN THE TIME COMES. MOSELY IS ACTUALLY A BETTER FIGHTER THAN WINKY IN MY OPINION, HE JUST HAS CONFIDENCE ISSUES. HE'S BEEN BEATEN AND IS SCARED TO IMPOSE HIS POWER ON A FIGHTER LIKE WINKY BECAUSE HE WILL HAVE TO TAKE PUNISHMENT EARLY. IF WAS READY TO RUMBLE A LIL MORE, HE HAD THE POWER TO HURT WINKY BUT NEVER EXPOSED IT CAUSE HE HAS BECOME A DIFFERENT FIGHTER IN HIS MIND WHICH IS WHERE HE NOW LOSES FIGHTS. HE LACKS THE CONFIDENCE, BUT DE LA HOYA AINT FAR BEHIND, WAIT TIL AFTER THIS FIGHT WITH HOPKINS. HE WILL GO BACK TO SINGIN...

THIS IS HIS MOST DANGEROUS FIGHT. UNLESS HOPKINS DROPS OFF FROM THE LEVEL HE HAS BEEN ON, DE LA HOYA WILL FACE HIS FIRST K.O. WINKY ONLY WANTS TO FIGHT VARGAS TO REWRITE THE JUDGES WRONG SCORES... NOBODY HAS TO ARGUE THE POINT THAT HE DID NOT LOSE THE FIGHT. HE KNOWS HE WAS ROBBED ONCE, AND WOULD LOVE TO DESTROY VARGAS BUT HE HAS BIGGER FISH ON HIS PLATE IN THE FORM OF TRINIDAD, DE LA HOYA AND HOPKINS, ALL WHO HAVE AVOIDED HIM. HOPKINS COULD GIVE HIM PROBLEMS, AND TRINIDAD COULD TOO POWER WISE IF HE LANDED A BIG SHOT, BUT DE LA HOYA WOULD BE A WALK THROUGH THE PARK... MIGG ANYTHING LESS THAN THAT IS MORE LOYALTY TO YOUR MAN, BUT I'M BEING MORE FACTUAL...

Championship rounds? Man Winky whooped Vargas period and that's why De La Hoya doesn't want to fight him. De La Hoya is going to get hurt messing with B-Hopkins. De La Hoya is going to be running all fight. Once Bernard hunts him down and stuns him it's going to be over.
