....theres alot of bloodlines in the creole culture and it really depends on who or where you came from..theres a wide variety of colors and mixes within the creole race because of settlers from different parts of the world being slaves. you coud be african-coal-black dark to someone who might look like a light puerto rican. they didnt race check you as a slave...if you were there you was goin... at one point the creoles (we'll call 'creoles' the mixture of african/Caribbeans and african slaves) basically looked at themselves as people in the same plight. you shouldnt mix creole up with cajun. cajun is more....redneck. most cajun people treat themselves as such and pretty much stick to their own people, whom look white.
