This that new ras kass "Deformed Pretty Boys". At the end of his first verse he says "if you's a hyphy nigga light a blunt or two, new california anthem this buds for you" It aint really that bad but I'll be willing to bet that people start actin like they made it up cuz out here in LA they already sayin it and half the other shit we say in the Bay. This aint intended to start an argument im just givin yall another example of our lingo being used by others.

Shit just the other day I heard Puffy say "we gonna to the back and chop it up a bit"
Heard Fat Joe say "that's real talk, and many many moons" and used thems as slang. Just what I've observed so far, I don't know if theses slangs are bay shit but I ain't never heard no one from NY say them slangs. I don't know where "what it do" came from but I hear alotta southern dudes sayin it now.

IM SURE SOMEBODY WILL MAKE AN ARGUEMENT OUTTA THIS. THIS IS THE SICCNESS.NET WE INTERNET BANG !! LOL.
Making an argument or a debate isn't net bangin', net bangin is where mafuckas talk shit for no reason talkin bout I'm a beat yo ass and I got a bullet with your name on it and shit like that. This is a main reason why we have msg boards, to argue and debate trying to persuade one another, nathin' wrong with that.

^^^It aint even that we takin it too seriously. Its that slang plays a major role in the rap game and we been innovators in that area without recieving the credit we deserve. And like I said this wasn't posted for arguments or smart ass comments so leave them off this thread.

how is that stupid?

no one really said anything about "fa sheezy" or "fa shizzle" until Snoop had all these suburb kids sayin it and everyone knows where that came from

same thing with bling bling, skeet, off the hook, etc...

do you really care when someone from anutha ghetto say it or when you see a MTV show with suburb kids sayin the shit like they really know what it means?

man fuck it

THE MAJORITY OF THE SLANG COME FROM THE BAY. THEY JUST DON'T GET CREDIT FOR IT.
IMMA TELL YA'LL NOW, SEATTLE/TACOMA BITE THE BAY HARD, I MEAN HARD. THEY WASN'T DANCIN ON TOP OF CARS, WEARIN THEM OUTRAGEOUS GLASSES (I.E MAC DRE), THEY NEVER HEARD OF HYPHY OR YADIMEAN OR THE THIZZELLE DANCE UNTIL THEY SEEN TREAL TV JUST LAST YEAR, LITERALLY. IM JUST SUPRISED THAT THEY HAVEN'T STARTED SIDESHOWS.

Nah I dont care as long as its established that this is our shit. Its just like people that aint from the south sayin crunk. Its coo because its already established that its some south shit. As long as there aint this huge explosion of "hyphy" comin from somewhere else im coo. But with our luck somebody not from Bay will blow off the shit and act like they created the culture and we'll get no credit.
