JUST SEEN THE SHIT ON THE NEWS. SUMTHIN HAPPENED DURING TRAINING CAMP IN HAWAII. HE WAS ON THE GROUND FOR 25 MINUTES WITH NO MOVEMENT AND THEY COULDNT GET A RESPONSE. THEY SAID HE CANT MOVE FROM HIS SHOULDERS DOWN. ALL BAD FOR HIM AND THE WARRIORS. HOPE HE RECOVERS

Golden State Warriors guard Monta Ellis was immobilized and carted off the court after he was injured in a collision during training-camp practice Friday night.

Ellis was trying to split a double team on a pick-and-roll when he went down. Ellis lay face down, prone for more than 25 minutes.

He has been taken to Castle Medical Center in Kailua, which is about 40 minutes from the BYU-Hawaii campus where the Warriors are holding camp.

The team's trainer was able to speak to Ellis, so it appears he is conscious, but there were no noticeable responses to tests for motion, particularly from the shoulders down.

Ellis was strapped onto a board to get him on a stretcher to be taken off the court.

fuck I seen this shit on espn at around 11 pm in bar down here in SD, just logged on to the sicc to see if there was any new news..... I hoped Monta is ok.... Ive been paraying and thinking of dude since I heard the news earlier tonoghtl....... this ruined any fun I was having tonight,,, 4real my thoughts are with dude, please hope Monta is ok.... fuck does this kinda shit hit home when its one of ur favorite players......

he's fine. he got outta the hospital last night. it's just being called a sprained neck (not that that's not bad and painful as hell but it's better than a spinal injury and possible paralysis).

GOod to hear. Mopnte is one of the premier young players in the league and the Warriors need him if they want to be a contender this coming season.

Damn, that was scary as fuck to hear/read. Sounds like he is OK though. Good think he's got a few weeks to recuperate.

I'm just worried he might get injured easily in the future, he is a little on the frail side
