Remeber when Dennis Miller was the 3rd commentator in the booth a few years back?I hated him..

But you know who else I hate being in the booth?Tony Kornhieser...

I mean wow...who is this guy a SPORTS WRITER???He knows DIDDLEY about football...Did he seriously ask what a "silent count" was????Get the fuck outta here...

Dont get me wrong...i luv PTI...Micheal and Tony work WELL together...but what was ESPN thinkin when they chose the guy with the LEAST amount of sporst knowledge between the 2????He may be somewhat witty and "colorful"....but give me a break....Michael is much more "sports literate"...

Can we have Dennis Miller back?

NOOOOOOOOO....he was 100 times worse than Tony. And Dennis Miller isn't even funny.

I'm sure Tony knows about football...otherwise he wouldn't have the PTI show.

I didn't here the silent count question, but I'm sure it was more to have a conversation than him not really knowing.

Dennis Miller was the worst thing to happen to MNF EVER. I muted the game just so I wouldn't have to listen to him.

yo I really dont see what the big hang up was with Dennis Miller.. he was the reason I started WATCHING football to begin with. dude was hilarious. the only reason he got shit canned is because the dumb fuckin ignorant rednecks that watch football didnt know what the hell he was talking about because their vocabulary didnt extend past the 5th grade mark. and the other douche bag NFL announcers are goddamn retards. all they do is state the obvious. john madden is the king of all douch bags.

"what the eagles need to do here is score some points!" no shit? cuz I thought the point of the game was to get LESS points than your opponent.

FUCK YEAH bring Dennis Miller back. At least that would bring some color to the NFL comentating world

MNF, yeah.. never watched any of the other games because I couldnt stand the broadcasters.

If you watch PTI....Tony knows a lil bit about all sports...but not as much as you would think a sports writer would know like Michael does...Tony gets stats wrong...names wrong...is very opinionated and biased(he even admits it)...and he was dead on serious when he asked what a silent count was...i almost shit my pants...how the FUCK...does a SPORTS WRITER not know what a silent count is???My 10 year old cousin knows what a silent count is and she hates football!

Haha I had a feeling this would come up. I'm a big fan of PTI myself, but some how I just didn't see Tony Kornhieser fit on MNF and the national spotlight. I don't see it lasting very long and he'll probably be on there as long as Dennis Miller was on.

dennis miller was TERRIBLE, hands down. he wasn't funny AT ALL, making lame ass dennis miller type jokes that sucked ass. why even try to bring 'comedy' to a football game? all i want is the play-by-play. but i do agree that john madden went senile about 10 years ago. and about kornheiser - i dont like it. i like him on pti like dude said but i dunno about mnf. he plays the annoying jew role well tho i must say.

Thats what I am talking about. Tony is a great blend of some sports knowledge and wit. Pti is not the same without him, as we have all seen lately. The dude knows a lot about many sports.
