I didnt get to see the game, but hearing all the writers and listening to it last nite, it sounded like we got jewed by the refs lightweight, and some unlucky plays happened, i really think the last gore run was bs, that should be a change of rule, that 1 hand didnt cause gore to fall, he slipped, lol @ emmit saying the turf monster got him

yeah... Gore did slip on that last run... BUT... he was touched... kind of a bullshit rule... but it was the right call according to the book

and a lot of the times it could be hard to determine whether you were down due to a player or you just tripped... so they just have to say any type of contact means you're down

I saw one obvious pass interference call in the end zone that should have been called in the 49ers favor. It was clearly a PI but the 49ers didn't get the call.

One Gore's run it was a good call! He was down by contact... a few yards short of the end zone. I thought dude's hand did cause Gore to lose his footing somewhat...

^^^u mean the catch they ruled incomplete cuz he "dropped" it out of bounds??? that blew my mind, u mean to tell me if u keep both feet in bounds (which he did) and he fell down and both knees were down, the ball "fell" out after and its an incomplete catch? what difference does it make?

I think he's talking about the TD pass that Vernon Davis didn't even reach for! Yeah that was sad... it looked like he just gave up instead of diving trying to make the catch. VD is looking like a bust.

keying someones car = wrong. I bought my WRX brand new 2 years ago, the first week I got it, it had been keyed, the scratches are still on it now cause I can't afford to get it fixed. I got fired from that job too cause I suspected some dude for doing it and went nuts in the office jumping over tables to get to the guy.. anyway point of the story is, dont key cars, people work hard for their cars.

On the game, when we were 4th&1 I wanted to go for it as well, but I'd say there was a big possibility we wouldn't have got it, Martz and Singeltary arguing was nothing, just a couple of dogs barking and Mike establishing he is the leader of the pack.

and VD should of caught that pass but just watched it go by cause it was not right on his chest.....

anyway, we lost and it sucked at the end, only god knows why it took 20 seconds to spike the ball, very frustrating, but not as frustrating as Gore slipping over from a back slap, my heart was in my mouth and eyes lit up, I honestly thought we were gonna win at that moment!

But, you can't be that upset cause they played with alot of heart and showed it all game, they were playing with more agression on D they had all year.

But the Cards were the better side on the night and Kurt Warner is hard to stop, the game changed after the bomb he threw.

anyway, next week.

hes talking about both, but yeah vd why didnt u just dive? what did he have to lose? he had the angle and everything, he just pulled up too early...that td catch would have been too much to ask for.

Kurt Warner owns the 9ers straight up. And after watching Singletary's explanation on why they gave the ball to Robinson at the end clears up the confusion. It was a good ass game, just too bad the 9ers got a loss out of it.

thats what i kept tellin my folks last night when we were watching the game.

he could have tried to extend his reach or dive for the catch.

Offensive coordinator Mike Martz said he messed up after Jason Hill had made his catch at the 1-yardline. Martz intended to have Shaun Hill spike the ball and then send in his bigger personnel, but in the excitement, he sent the personnel change as Hill was trying to get the ball spiked. The confusion caused about 23 extra seconds to run off the clock.

Martz said he left the stadium highly upset that his play call for Michael Robinson up the gut didn’t get the less than a yard needed to reach the end zone. But as he found out this morning when former head coach Mike Nolan called, it wasn’t inside the one.

Instead the ball was placed back somewhere beyond the two and a half yardline, something officials did announce but that Martz couldn’t hear along the sidelines.

“Officials always come over and explain to you what is going to happen based on the replay, but for whatever reason, they neglected to do that. That’s a courtesy that is always afforded.”

Martz said that Shaun Hill did make a mistake with a bad throw on his first interception, but that the shovel pass to Adrian Wilson was actually because the receiver (Frank Gore) didn’t angle out as he is coached to do once the quarterback starts to sramble.
