They passed a law in San Francisco, banning toys with Happy Meals unless the meal was under a certain number of calories.



I DON'T NEED THE FUCKING GOVERNMENT TO HELP ME WITH FOOD CHOICES.

Honestly, I didn't even watch the video but I wanna voice somethin which hopefully is related to it..
I'm a liberaLtarian.. it's shit like this that pisses me off about liberals (not to say that she is one, but just in general)..

The only thing the government should be regulating as far as the food industry goes is food safety... and that DOES NOT include making sure we have more "healthy" food choices and trying to force us to stop eating fast food, or force restaurants to stop marketing to kids. Same thing with food stamps... if you're gonna give em to people who need em, fine... but don't try to fucking regulate what they can and can't buy with them (soda, chips, whatever).. If it's edible and they wanna eat it or feed it to their kids, let them fucking eat it or feed it to their kids. Parents need to be responsible for making proper choices for their children... for fuck's sake, utilize your right and responsibility to tell your children "yes" or "no" when they ask for junk food, the government shouldn't be trying to fucking regulate that.

I kind of see her point as well, BUT I dont think McD's should be responsible for her child eating their food or wanting their wack toys...she should probably cutback on the amount of commericials or tv her child watches in general....kids will always be influenced but at the same time my mom always had authority....

The job of major corporations across the globe is to attract consumers to their products and services through various marketing activities. McDonald's is doing NOTHING wrong here. I saw the same shit happen with tobacco companies. While I don't think cigarette commercials should be on TV, I don't know one person who started smoking because of a commercial...but I know an assload of people who started smoking because their parents and/or friends did it.

Fact of the matter is, this woman's daughter wouldn't have that problem if the woman would learn how to tell her kid NO. My kid is approaching 9 months, and he has little fits if he can't have something he wants. What's the response? Cry then...'cause you're not fuckin' gettin' it...PERIOD! And as an infant he doesn't understand, so he just cries and cries...but he learns. What's her excuse? Her daughter speaks and understands English.

and in a world where u work 8-12 hour days, while ur kids spend 8 hours with strangers, how do u expect to teach them any better?

this lady i work with, she had a couple friends come from nevada a week ago or so. well, this dude got in a bad accident, i cant remember what exactly, some freak car accident, but he ended up like FUCKING up his guts. like they were just hanging out n shit, but he survived and all that. lost his wife n shit though. well-anyways, he was at our mc-d's here. lol..haha, and idk wtf happened. but i guess he was just chilling about to order or something, and all of a sudden a 52'' tv fell on his dome and gave him a concussion, while tearing his shoulder apart. like fucking it up, like it got separated 2 inches from where it's supposed to be. lol. how bout that reason to sue those fuckers?!?!?!
