so Mobb Deep isnt deserving of blowing up?...they payed their dues in my opinion and are definitely deserving to blow up...however, i wonder if they ever will. even though signing with G-Unit is the most logical move considering the type of music they make. G-Unit is starting to look like the LA Lakers back when they had Malone, Payton, Shaq and Kobe.

Mobb Deep...

you need to know their history to appreciate their musicc....
MOBB DEEP>>been puttin it down since '93 and still makin money in the rap game...thats something to respect, not frown upon

"Not only did Mobb Deep produce its own beats; it also crafted its own style of beat-making: a street-smart poetic approach centering on the surrounding ghetto lifestyle. Prodigy and Havoc¹s brutally honest reality rapping and complementary melancholy beats landed them a deal in 1995 with the up-and-coming Loud label, who released The Infamous, Mobb Deep¹s breakthrough album. In February 2003 the duo inked a brand new deal with NY based Jive Records."

Mobb Deep doesn't need anymore recognition than they already have, or the whole "blow up" idea, they blew up a decade ago, right now they are just getting money, which is smart.

While I do like Mobb Deeps music I respect that you don't. But to call others gay because you don't like their music is immature. What are you in the 7th grade? You are a fan of Dipset (as am I) but others might think their music is gay, monotone, nursery rhyme lyrics, etc. Does that mean you are gay? Come on Sticky.

If you haven't noticed (which seeing you have been around forever I don't see how you couldn't) the Siccness has evolved way beyond " a bay website." Like it or not. Plus it started out as a Sacramento website if you wan't to get right down to it (if you want to be even more precise it started out as a Brother Lynch/Black Market website but like I said before you know that already.)

I always respected you for speaking your mind and sticking to it no matter what anyone says. I am sure you will do the same with this topic. But still you got to admit your comments are kind of childish.

Anyways...back on topic.

I think that signing with G-Unit won't help Mobb Deeps fanbase at all. They don't make music for 14 year old girls....plain and simple. While I wish them all the luck and they deserve it, I feel in the long run this is a bad move.

It's all good man. I was pretty fucked up myself when I wrote that. I am suprised I didn't have typos all over the place. LMFAO...

I guess next time I have to write a essay for class I should get drunk first.

I bump Mobb Deep here and there.
If it makes them blow up for the main-main stream, then cool. I personally, will support them less because I know for a fact their style and beats will change.
