Mo phatt question

Whats up yall... im tryin to use this mo phatt with sonar 3... i got the midi on it hooked up.. works fine.. but i want to know what i have to do in order to make it so that i can pick the sounds i want thru sonar... i Downloaded the instrument definition file for the mophatt but i dont know how to make it so the mophatt will receive the sysex messages so that i can pick the different sounds on within sonar... i know how to do it on the triton but not on the mophatt... if any one can give me some pointers on how to do it, it would be greatly appreciated.. thanks everyone. :beard:

it should work just like the triton, you might have downloaded a bad ins file, try downloading a different one.

A bad instrument file could be the cause like Bane mentioned but you should also check the Mo Phatt to make sure you have sysex (exclusive) turned on. I think that's the most common cause for your problem.
