Starting in the second quarter you could see this defeatist attitude come out of the Patriots and it was sorry. Just looknig at Wes Welker's face he was totally copped out at that point.

Safe? Maybe, but if you are going to take that kind of stance why play your starters at all in this game, right? I mean they could just forfit and STILL lead the AFC East by 3 games and if they beat Miami next week...4 games.

This is terrible hyperbole even for you. You are really going to sit up here and NOT understand taking out players to keep them fresh for the next game, when it is clear you aren't playing well? You watch college football, right? Blowouts happen all the time and 2nd and 3rd sting players end up playing in them EVERY WEEK. This is nothing new.

Maybe the Pats just have the attitude of "we dont care, its a loss, we will win the East again, and make a run for the SB"...maybe they are just THAT confident.

What's up with Bellicheck pulling his starting offense with like 5 minutes left in the game? That's some defeatist shit if I've ever seen it. I understand if you are winning the game to pull your starters, but when you are down you should keep fighting to the end. I think that is a losers attitude and someone should have pointed that out on the Monday night crew.
