The A's are still trying to decide on who their 5th starter is so I dunno if I would expect that... You'll probably see a lot of pitching from 2 guys who aren't even going to make the team.

^^yeah, they just sent down meyer, so its either setherton or saarloos...and i heard its gonna be saarloos, but im not too sure...
Yeah Meyer did just get sent down, after last night's performance I'm pretty sure it's gonna be Saarloos... He covered for Hudson last season when he was out and did pretty well... Saarloos will start tonights game for Harden... Harden has a blister and is gonna chill til his start in Baltimore.

Saarloos is kinda scary cuz he had bone spurs in his elbow last year and was supposed to get Tommy John's surgery but never did... Hopefully if he does get hurt again he'll at least last long enough for Meyer to get some more work in at Sacramento and get ready for the majors... I'm not sure what Seth Etherton's status is... Isn't he a rule 5 pick? If so I think that means he doesn't stay with the A's if he doesn't make the 25-man roster... Which doesn't look likely.

haha @ caring about winning the series

ST games don't mean shit, teams are still figuring out who is going to be on the team and who isn't... That means they're going to be playing guys who are NOT going to be on the team... I'm just glad baseball is back on TV.

What is it with the Giants always saying the games will not go past the 10th if it's a tie... That's weak. I would be pissed if I paid for a ticket and they ended the game in a tie... Maybe if tickets were like $5 or $10 or something... But not when they're charging high prices for ST games... Maybe the Giants players are too old to play more than 10 innings :(

I'm pretty sure that's just a Giants rule, not a real rule... All the other teams keep going...

u would be the 1st too say something if the a's would have won the series, fuck the a's.
I've been watching baseball long enough to know Spring Training games mean dick... After all, I am an A's fan, not a Giants fan that started watching baseball when Barry Bonds came to the Bay... :)
