The keyword is promotion. Meaning not to be sold.

If you look at alot of mixtapes, they are just putting a bunch of tight songs togher
like a compilation,selling em and not payng the artist.

I think mix tapes are wack, I dont wanna hear local rappers on 50 cent beats.
Get ur own beats

those stores been closed, but i used to go there sometimes and ive purchased bootlegs from there...i would doubt it was just mixtapes

this shit has been happening to few of my stores i hit.
to all you making cds here is what they look 4 when they confiscate your material.
they look on the back of the cd for contact info like an adress or a phone number if it doesnt have that on there they take it, so even if you have a legit album or solo they still take it because it has no contact info and could possible be illegal.this is the str8 up honest to god. ive talked with a few stores this has happened to. they took everybodies cds.
