for home studios, what is the best or some of the best programs for mixing...i'm using Cool Edit 2 right now...i'm tryin to see if there's anything else out there beside Cool Edit and Cubase...

man cool edit sux ass, u gotta use some professional softs : Cubase SX is the reference, u can upgrade to Pro Tools also .... but its harder to use. Personaly I use SX & Wavelab, they powerful, and very professional softwares.

I do all my MIDI recording and AUDIO recording in Cubase SX, 24-bit, 96khz...
