You stay relevant buy making HOT MUSIC if your a rapper. You don't just do anything for attention like a toddler. I'm all for promotion of oneself, but the dude seems to find attention (like the fake chain snatching) good attention and it's not. He is an attention whore trying to anything to stay in the loop.
Agreed. Music should be the # 1 priority. But when in Rome, do what the Romans do. Every other rapper is on WWSH making a goddamn fool of themselves, why not FAB? It ain't like FAB is the only one. Look at Joe Budden. Every other day that nigga got some video out. Promotion is promotion and attention is attention.
The chain snatching was a JOKE ; Fab and his friends were having fun. It was obviously a joke (which many people enjoyed) and I feel sorry for those who couldn't see that. So he does the chain thing and he is "asked" to do this smoke-a-thon thing ..that makes him an attention whore? Come on let the man live. But hey the attention must be working because here we are talking about him.

YaKuzaMistress...that's not a valid point, because to be honest with you the most talked about person on the siccness right now is "KING OF THE O" and he might be able to tell you that all attention isn't good attention. I am just saying that there is a thin line between exposure and over exposure...between being the life of the party and the nigga that jumps his ass in everybody picture like an ATTENTION WHORE. Maybe I'm the only person that feels this way, but I doubt it esp. since I wasn't the first person to post about it and I'm not the only one to comment on it.

No doubt bruh I'm not co-signing the clown shit that Fabby is doing, I'm just saying that the clown shit is what the rap game has evolved into. It's not about music anymore. It's about who has the most youtube videos. The reason why I wouldn't quite call Fab an ATTENTION WHORE yet is because the stuff he is doing isn't nearly on the level as some of these other rappers. I already spoke on Joe Budden, look at Bishop Lamont. The only way he stays relevant is by talking shit about every OG rapper on the Westcoast. Nobody seems to be calling him an attention whore. Fab had three videos on the net of him acting a clown, and he's an attention whore? I don't know about all that...

If those three vids are what you are basing you opinion on Fab on, you should be calling G. Malone and Stretch ATTENTION WHORES too.

^^lol I feel u...I think ever since he dropped "Ghost Ride It" FAB has had this "clown" stigma attached to him like a last name. Whatever he does, good or bad, cats remember him for that shit. There's not much he can do about it...He should just focus on his music and stop worrying about what people on Siccness and WSHH think about him.
Any grown ass man that would wear air brushed overalls, hat and shoes with pictures of his own face on his shirt with a giant yellow bus around his neck is crying for attention. Just because he is an ATTENTION WHORE doesn't mean the guy doesn't hustle. It is just kind of a tacky way of doing it in my opinion.
the kids love fab and thats what he set out to do. make the next generation love him. he cant have the old heads cause the og of the bay have them already. but name a rapper in the bay that the kids love more than fab? if you pay a little more attention, not in the hater way, trying to nit pick and what not...... you will clearly see he is trying to appeal to the kids who buy records.... fab and turfy sold 21k and 15 k on their last albums.... from their level down who is doing more?

I think that FAB more than likely isn't as bad as he seems with what seems to be an addiction to attention. I have to agree with some of the other post about him seeming like an "attention whore" or at the least as him being the type that you will often find yourself saying, "that guy is doing waaaay to much." Personally I think all of this would be a muted point if he would drop a respectable album that would over shadow his over the top antics. Because really you can't fault people for formulating opinions about the things that he is flooding websites with. And since the things are based on non music related material set in candid or "real" moments they seem to represent him as a man. With that said...since people are basing their opinions on what he puts out there, then the fault is partially his own. Now you seem like you know him based on how you are defending-- which you should, but that would make YOU the one with a biased opinion in this case. The rest of the people (including myself) are only speaking on what he as a public figure puts out there.
