if you don't already know mIRC you betta start learning how to use it, triggers, ctcp, dcc, shit like dat. get invision if you want to make it a little easier on yourself.

In 2 or 3 years mIRC will be the only way left to trade files, it will never be shut down, so get on dat shit playaz.

Have you thought of reading the text file that probably came with it? If that doesn't help, do a search for irc help at dogpile.com... There's tons of places on the web that can help you out.

Oh and just so you know, don't be suprised when you get booted out of every place you go when you use IRC...
