Now he is not a scrambler because he was able to always pass from the pocket...something Vick cannot do. But Elway was a scrmabler becasue when the pocket collpased around him he was athletic enough to make something out of nothing. Now to the poster that said Vick as no WR'S...SHOW ME A GOOD WR ELWAY HAD BEFORE SHARPE AND SMITH. He did it all on his own and made others around him better.

Vick had Price and made him worse...not the sign of a good QB.

So again out of some of the all time great qb's Vick doesn't touch them in throwing ability. and even in athleticism Elway was comparable.....but Elway has won with less while Vick as been given a couple of players and made them worse.

Look.. it's ok to throw a stat around every now and then but i don't let it be the main reason of my liking of a player. I don't use it to attack a player. I don't look at a specific stat and then say that guy is overated. Listing the career stats for every single player like you did earlier. Thats for kiddies. :lick:

The guy has lived up to the hype. People forget...Vick was #1 pick overall. Shitty ass teams get the #1 pick. Notice that within his first year as a starter that Falcon team is now a playoff team. Thats how much of an impact vick has. The way he runs and tires down the opposing teams defense is something that no other quarterback can do but him.. The speed is unbelievable. He's as fast a reciever. Stop bitching about how he can't throw and how his passing stats aren't good enough. Stats are for little bitches. Watch the GAMES!!! But yeah....yesterday was a perfect example of how overrated Vick is...his effiecncy was BETTER...but when you only throwin the ball for 7 yards or less a pass...that aint hard to accomplish.Im surprised he didnt run at ALL yesterday...but damn...44-11???Yeah...hes doin GREAT!

I like Matt though...at least Atlanta will have a legit backup in the next few years..
