MFC42 MIDI Analog Filter Module

Anybody use this? The filter on the MPC blows, I'd like to see if anyone has any experience with the MFC42. I'm thinkin of pickin one up.

EDIT - Actually the filter isn't THAT bad, but it's just a low-pass filter. I need more

I picked this up yesterday at gituar center for $160.00. They were having a huge sale. I also got the Rocktron banshee talkbox for $149.99. As far as the module goes I haven't had time to hook it up yet. I just can't wait to see what I can do with my drums on it. I will let you know how it is.

Ok so I have played with it and it is going back tomorrow. I am sure it is a nice piece of gear if you want to learn how to use it but I am yet to do anything with it that I can't do in a program. If you use Reason or damn near any other program you don't need this.

I also got the Rocktron banshee talkbox for $149.99.

I just picked up another one for $99.99 on sale @ Guitar Center. You should take your receipt in and have them adjust you for the $50 difference.
