my sister got this for me for christmas...the graphics are the shit...i played it for about 1hr last night and fuck i feel its going to be tight...my only gripe is the bullshit snake chats up w that one girls who saves your game talking about godzilla and movies...my second gripe is that oif the one hour i played, about 50 min were movie and the other 10 min was actual gameplay, but man i feel its going to get waaay the fuck better...anyone whos played it, can i kill and eat those crocs in that one swamp at the begginging?

best game i have played in a while though,dont even mind the movies,like MC said,all metal gear games are like that so im used to it. it gives a movie feel to the game though which i like

I rented part 2 'cuz some people on the sicc said it was tight and I was thinking about getting snake eater- I thought the game play was fun but the god damn movie and talking is unbearable! I end up skipping about 20 min. of conversation & then I don’t know what the fuck is going on. I don’t mind a good story line but shit, that’s fucking waaaaay to much.

yeah, the voice overs can be annoying at times, but you can press a button to skip the conversations cuz they're irrelevent to the story. you can kill the crocs if you shoot them in the head with a gun, not the tranqulizer and you can also throw grenades into their mouths when they open it up. I'm still playin it and I bought it the first day it dropped

I just kneel down and stab em in the face...

You can also shoot the "pears" out from the tree branches for food...

I never listen to them talk, unless it's a cut scene, usually I just push the x button and read the text instead of having them talk at a rate of 3 words per minute.
BTW for snake eater try to kill every boss by using the tranq gun and you get a special camoflage suit.

@mexCommando...no im a MGS vet since it dropped on ps1, but shit, it seems that the convos get longer and longer as the series progresses...its still tight as fuck, but i dont have much time to play lately so its a bitch having to sit through the cut scenes and all that nonsense i started just reading myself and skiping the voice overs.
