Im talkin bout the track on what u know bout me 2. What original song did they sample that beat from, I know the song but cant remember the title and shits been buggin me all weekend. Can anybody help out?

also did you sample the hook?

another question.. lol .. How do you get better at adding basslines to samples? I can nevre find the right scale to use and I often play shit outta key... Sometimes I can get it, but it takes a while.

you gotta listen real close to the bassline thats already in the sample and replay it and make sure ur in tune...if you sped up the sample most likely your gonna have to adjust the tune of your keyboard to match with the sample...by the way that was a great question..it takes time to figure these things out but when messing with samples that one of the biggest things to know..most sample's already have the bassline in them so you have to follow the notes and replay..info free of charge..lol..

^ Thx.. Yeah it's the part of making sure I'm in tune is the problem.. haha. I'm pretty decent at knowing whether the next note is higher or lower, but I can't seem to find the right one, it always ends up sounding out of tune/key. Then it gets to the point where I can't even tell what sounds good or not lol.

I also need to learn it so I can add more to the samples.. Sometimes it sounds good with only the sample, but sometimes it needs more instruments. I've figured out keys before but it took me a while and I've only done it for a few songs.

You produced Look What I Done For Them, right? That shit was on point
