prolly cuz he dont have to. im quite sure he is clockin dollas,he aint trippin. I think mess is The most anticipated rapper from the bay. he got buzz, and with all the game that was accumulated from the GLP Days and being taught how to market and distribute your own shit independently plus being a hot rapper = no need to sign, and tons of money with little overhead. damn near 20years being rap affiliated,if a nigga dont want to perform, fuck is the problem? Mess on rappers island, aint trippin off shit. doing his radio show and other lil funny shit from time to time. keeps me interested.he always droppin somethin, and he is always coming dope. and his shit is still Gangsta as fuck

I book shows and promoters will pay him up to 5 g's + a show he would sell out Portland and Kansas City for a week straight. Show money is where rap cats really eat . If a artist sells 10,000 records he gets about $5 a record 50,000 after expenses and taxes takes home $36,000 over a year that's $3000 a month he can make more that in one night. Big money is being left on the table by not doing shows. Who ever is booking shows for Mess would be eating.

some artist get more than 5$. anyways... what makes sense to you will not make sense to someone else.and unless you are mess himself, you cannot say how much for certain he is takin home, and neither can I.

its a lot of other shit that can come with shows that is not always a good thing, and it comes down to comfort level. his anticipation is high, why you think he aint sign to a major? cats stay independent for a reason,36000 a year is something i highly doubt his music makes.

I've seen Mess's soundscans more than once . I know a ballpark figure on how many records he sold your right he probably sold around 50,000 records in the past few years . I'm just saying he could probably double his income if he did shows. Mess sell more records than any Bay Area artist outside of 40 without touring that's impressive.

i don't think he's rich to the point where he can just turn down 5g here and there. unless he's getting money from other things. but to say he does not have to do anything live on stage because he rich to the point he does not have to is overstating it. Jay Z still performs live.
