if the rule was in place i would say no also. but there is no rule, he did his time....his numbers are actually better since he has come back. he has been wrecking shit on the field, and has been testing clean. The ? i have is were the steriods helping? or was he telling the truth the whole time?

I am not taking anything away from Merriman....I think he is a great player..
But I think he should go this year without recieving anything..
I dont think to Ban him from the game is neccessary...he did his 4 games...that was good....
as long as he doesnt drop bad again..

on one hand I don't care if he did or did not actually do any drugs, he tested positive, and you shouldn't be able to win any awards the year you test positive.
but on the other hand he is still throwing up #'s after he served his time and I am sure is being tested and still doing his thing so, to have better #'s than most the NFL even being out 4 games is hard to argue against.
So I am on the fence and those are my 2 reasons why. I guess for selfish reasons I hope he doesn't win so Champ can get it.

He tested positive in August, not when they suspended him it just took them that long to suspend him.... So it makes no sense to say he perform the same after he got suspended because that doesnt mean thats when he stopped using them....... He cheated so i think that he doesnt deserve any awards at least for this season.........
