Like a fucked up conglomeration of Modest Mouse and Q and Not U with a little The Flaming Lips thrown in for artistic sense, the band walks an interesting line that ebbs and flows across the album, moving with an energy that is addictively daunting and dauntingly addictive at the same time.

Les Savy Fav opened for the Faint here in S.D. a few years back and ive dug them ever since because they kicked all our asses.


trying em out tomorrow ASAP just for that comparison.

I've seen Les Savy Fav twice live and they were both amazing shows. I'd say Meneguar is like a little toned down slower version of Les Savy Fav. Do you have Les Savy Fav's new album Let's Stay Friends Psilo? It's fucking sweet.

Oh yeah, and bonus points for being a fan of The Faint. Great fucking band even though I didn't care for their last album too much. Blank-Wave Arcade is a classic though.

I dont have their new album and im glad you reminded me of them so i could get it! Dloading now...

I didnt like "Wet From Birth" too much either but it grew on me, im a HUGE, HUGE faint fan.. haha... one of my top groups.. so I really made myself like that album. that's not really fair though and i can for sure say that Danse Macabre will probably always be their best #1 work, with Blank-Wave Arcade following in a close second. But I saw them live this year and heard some new songs and im hyping the Jan-2008 record very much, so keep on a look out
