megapixel vs. megapixel

i was thinking of buying a Sony 1-Megapixel MiniDVD Camcorder and it says it capture's 1-megapixel digital still images is this like the same megapixels on a regular 1-megapixel digital camera or is it come out way better? cause i was thinking of using it for cd covers.... help me out! :dead:

1 mega pixel aint good if your gonna use it for covers.....go with a standalone digital camera, dont use the capture from a vid cam...theres like 10 megapixel cameras out now last i checked
