45 of the 831's hardest working musical acts are ready to take it to the next level! They all want a spot on the X 103.9 Home Grown Festival Stage @ The Monterey County Fair Saturday night August 18th!
8 acts will play the X 103.9 Home Grown Festival. These 8 acts will also receive airplay and on-air promotion on X 103.9, plus have the opportunity to sell merch and CDs to a huge potential new audience all day at the Fair.
45 acts are now posted in 3 seperate polls!
Vote for your favourite local act in the categories of
* INDIE / ALTERNATIVE / REGGAE [3 acts will be selected]
* HARD ROCK / METAL / ROCK / HARDCORE [3 acts will be selected]
* HIP HOP [2 acts will be selected]
Just a reminder dudes this is NOT a "battle of the bands", there are no "judges" ....its real simple. The groups with the most votes on the poll get to play on the day. Once selected to play, there is no "contest" or "battle"...no "winners" ....and definately no "losers"
The X 103.9 HomeGrown Festival is simply a showcase for the awesome local musical talent in the 831 and surrounding areas. Alot of the crowd at this event are most likely not frequenting the local rooms, so its a great chance to make new fans and take our hottest local music to a new level in the 831!
