people serious about this Vince Young debate? dude is immature and thats the reason he prolly wont play for the team. he got benched for his thumb injury and the coach even said he never asked to go back in. and didnt he walk out on the tem? lol dude can throw 50 yard bombs all day but when you treat the coach the way he has and also had problems off field he's lucky dude has a job. i'd be saying the same for peyton manning if he was punching people at strip clubs and walking out on his team but he doesnt.

and didnt white kolb get bench for black vivk granted kold was playing great aswell? i think so and the person who benched him was the same guy who sent mcnabb packing. i agree that maybe there is some shit with black qb's aspecially in the past but nowadays things seem normal and just cause some dumbass coach like shanahan benches a black QB that it's a black qb thing. the offensive coach been trying to get his main man grossman in there all year so it has nothing to do with race.

Your right but there was a interesting point brought up about that incident. The person who dissed him and was talking shit to him was the manager of the night club. Why the fuck would you talk shit to your biggest customer that just paid to get in if your a manager. VY also didn't mind the upside longhorns sign, as he was leaving the guy kept talking down to him and thats when he had homeboy breaking through the security guards punching him in the head..

Also, don't forget when the Titans were 0-6 and the coach Jeff Fisher wore a Peyton Manning jersey at a conference and when asked why he was wearing it he said "I wanted to feel like a winner" but the team didn't mind that at all. Fisher and VY are both assholes to their team...

lol at one of the best coaches in the league being an asshole for the team, yeah what he did was prolly stupid but he put on a mans jersey and thats it. vince young's problems with the fight shows immaturity, a guy egging him on he should just bounce quick before nothing stupid happens. but thats not the main thing to me, the fact he threw all his equipment in the crowd then walked out on the team. and instead of being a man and apologizing he does it via text like an immature child who doesnt know what he's doing.

all of this irrelevant i just see his name being up here and people saying he's treated wrong and i see that he's treated the way he is for a damn good reason. AND his rookie year the NFL elected him as rookie of the year and he got to be in the probowl over Brady granted numbers were a lil similar. also the titans benched the white QB in that 0-6 start last year to play the black vince young. dude has had great treatment in the NFL. he just finds a way to blow it and you cant blame that on his skin tone or his team thats all on him.

I agree with everything except the last part, black quarterbacks tend to get treated unfairly. Whether or not its a huge problem it is questionable. When Young got injured and replaced by a far worse player (Kerry Collins) they went with him just because Chris Johnson and the defense owned teams?

Also Fisher is not a good coach. Before Young came Fisher had amazing talent in his team, and couldn't find a way to win and if you look at his record it speaks for itself. Then you add Young to the equation and he has won more games than lost. Fisher can't say the same thing..Exactly like Vick, Young has the potential but his personal life and attitude is absolute shit untill you let him play a few games then his confidence is through the roof. Young was the future of the Titans and they never fully worked on it and both Young and the coach could of handled their problems better. It got so bad the owner of the Titans (Bud Adams, the awesome old bastard who flips everyone off) had to suggest putting Young in to the Coach while the coach ignored his suggestion.

Theres problems in Tennessee but lets not get off the topic at hand, McNabb is also going through the same exact shit...

i just dont see it as being treated poorly, i mean the NFL rallied around vince young when he came in and his team loved him, then he slowly just started having a shit attitude and the last straw is when he walked out of the lockerrom and never appoligized correctly about it. what's happening to McNabb is shitty and unfair but it's not his race, grossman been the OC's guy the whole time and always lobbied for him to be starter. shanahan is a shit coach and he's the reason shit is the way they are over there not with race. and as of late i never see this type of badly treated black QB thing. maybe i'm blind to it but when i see black QB's get benched or suspended there usually is a good reason behind it.
