Why? Because McDonalds is fucking nasty. And fast food is part of the reason our country is the most obese on the PLANET. People should actually look into what they are eating, it's called educating yourself.
And you'd be suprised as to how many people actually have spices and shit in their homes, a lot of people have random shit like that.
I agree, after watching Super Size Me i had a different look on fast food(not just mcdonalds). It's disgusting to know the practices they use behind closed doors. I rather eat a homecooked meal anytime anyday over a fast food meal. I do eat fastfood for lunch by i try my best to make myself a sandwich for lunch and i "try" my best to stay away from fastfood. But fastfood is so convinient and quik to order, but it's not healthy what so ever. The only thing that's healthy at a fastfood joint is there water(which tastes terrible). When i do eat at, lets say carl's jr, i stay away from their beef hamburgers and go for the chicken sandwiches.
But lately for lunch i've been eating In-N-Out(fresh ingredients), Quizno's(luv them subs), Panda Express, Togo's, Subway, La Morenita(mex rest.), Teriyaki Bowl, and a homemade sandwich(w/ the works) or leftovers from last night's dinner.
The main reason i stay away from fastfood joints is because it's not healthy and because when i order a hambuger i get a patty thinner than a tortilla(not really), lettuce that's turning brown, tomatoes that are green, a gallon of mayo & ketchup, onion that is sliced too big, and 2 buns that look like they've been smash together. In other words i get a hamburger that was made in less than a minute with all the expired ingredients blended together and it looks like shit when you unfold the wrapper.........but still eat it anyways because i'm starvin like a mofo.
it should be a mandatory requirement for all woman to learn how to cook by the time they graduate.........(home ec. is a joke....it should be taught by real chefs, homecookers, culinary experts, not a teacher who gets her recipes from one source.....a cookin book)
that's my 2cents on fastfood and cooking, peace.........
