I have no idea why you quoted that in response to my post
Floyd himself says he doesn't read any contracts and his lawyers & Haymon take care of all that stuff, what Floyd says (even when he says stuff) he doesn't even know the details since he isn't involved in that.
"It was a very detailed process," Espinoza told ESPN.com. "We put forth a very aggressive offer, and I know Floyd spent a lot of time with (adviser) Al Haymon poring over the details.

Yes, and floyd READ it all in detail. We all know floyd has a contract with showtime and we all knew the fight wasn't gonna happen. CBS is willing to sit down with TR and HBO but floyd already said no to that publicly. It's all up to Floyd

Huh.... i remember him saying that the fight has to be on Showtime and that he confirmed that negotiations are on going.... I don't remember hearing him say no to TR and HBO though.

You Mannynfans are confused...one moment if you mention money and PPV earning you Pactards say, "Stop using numbers like your Mayweather's accountant." Then when it's convenient for you to do the same, "Who else can Mayweather fight that's going to make Floyd $100,000 million?"

Right, like Floyd's only goal is to make $100 million. I haven't even heard Floyd say how much he's looking to make. The numbers will take care of themselves. I believe that what they're asking for is 2/3 of the pot. If that's what they want, then accept it, sign the contract and stop saying money isn't an issue when obviously it is.

Everyone else (Mosley, Ortiz, Cotto, Guerrero, Canelo, Miadana) Floyd has fought since the first negotiations didn't seem to have a problem with Floyd's offer. Were they big as Pacquiao? No, but they wanted the fight bad enough so they accepted what was on the table (drug test, money split) so they could have a chance at defeating the pound for pound champ.

You are comparing and contrasting two different things while not looking at context and who introduced them in the first place.

Like I said before, the ppv numbers for Manny's fights are low due to two reasons:quality of opponents and fighting in emerging markets. What I have said before is that for Manny to get the $40 million Floyd offered, all he had to do was fight ANYONE twice. However, on the flip side, Floyd would have to fight three HIGHER QUALITY fights to make $100 million (Both numbers are guaranteed purse numbers and I rounded Floyds up.)

Do you understand the difference now?

Yeah because Guerrero and Ortiz etc are on the same level as Pacquiao :dead:

Manny Pacquiao is a hype machine, he just capitalizes off of Mayweather's name. You see he makes commercials supposedly taunting Mayweather and before he fights his opponents he always bring up Mayweather's name but when Floyd sets a date to fight, Pacquiao always finds a way out. Pacquiao's tactics are getting played out.

I'd pick Ortiz, Cotto (now), Guerrero, Canelo, and especially Miadana to beat Pacquiao after seeing how he got put to sleep. Pacquiao is fighting light welterweights now.... lmfao

You're not a pactard bro.... I think he's talking to the Manny fans that don't understand why Manny should accept the 35% or whatever Floyd is offering and just fight.

Well that is because you're retarded. You also said Alfonso Gomez would KO Miguel Cotto
so your opinion is invalid. But thanks for the lulz at saying The Ghost and Victoria Ortiz beats Pacquiao. Really letting your bias shine with statements like that.

We don't know what the current offer even is though, so it's easy to say "just accept the deal" when there is no information out there regarding anything.

On a positive note Freddie Roach said yesterday he thinks things are close to being finalized and Pacquiao also stated he's very happy with the on going negotiations, so perhaps there is a glimmer of hope after all.

lmfao, man that old as prediction is like 10 years old.

I believe that Ortiz and Guerrero would beat Pacquiao, 40 year old Marquez knocked him out cold and gave him trouble in all of their fights. Pacquiao has trouble with fighters who can punch and fight back. I think Miadana would hurt Pacquiao and make his wife cry like she did when Marquez put him to sleep...

Ortiz just got KOd by fucking Collazo you dolt and now he can beat Pacquiao? Lmao. Guerrero is a come forward, slow non power puncher extremely easy style for Pacquiao. Again, your bias is showing extremely strong by making these kinds of statements.

Easier than Brandon Rios?
Same type of style same type of results. This is the easiest style for Pacquiao. Styles makes fights come on bro you should know that by now. What could Guerrero possibly do to beat Pacquiao? Come forward and throw slow arm punches? Yeah that will do it :hurt:. And weren't you saying Bradley would KO Pac in the rematch or was that Bigclit?

I thought Bradley would win the rematch but I don't remember saying by knockout though.

Why didn't Pacquiao fight legit welterweights? Rios and Algieri are light welterweights. And folks wonder why Pacquiao's stock is dropping.

Bradley is a legit welterweight now he was a welterweight champion when Pacquiao beat him.

As for Rios and Chris, comes down to a lack of Top Rank welterweights. Al Haymon has every welterweight that Pacquiao hasn't already fought - Thurman, Alexander, Khan, etc.

That's why I said pages ago if Pacquiao doesn't get this Mayweather fight he's screwed as far as his next opponent goes. The only guys left are 135/140, Crawford and Garcia (although Garcia is currently trying to get out if his contract and sign with Haymon I believe). Ruslan. And shitty ass Vargas. So in that sense I do agree with you there us a real sense of urgency and Pacquiao should sign a contract even if it's a low ball offer because he's got no one else to fight. I'd negotiate as best as possible and take the best deal they can get.
