Fighting 38 year olds beats beating your wife and rent-a-cops. How do we know Ortiz is not on Mayweathers level? Watch his fights. Two completely different class of fighters and the ONLY reason Ortiz will give Mayweather trouble is because he is a southpaw and Floyd's stance leaves him vulnerable to a southpaw so he has to adjust, and he will, and he will adjust and beat the brakes off Ortiz.

On the real, props to Ortiz for letting the negotiations go smoothly. Notice how we didn't hear of any kinks??????? He accepted the OSDT, and he didn't ask for a $10 million per pound weight penalty (I think Pacquiao was using that as a way to duck out of the Mayweather fight). Once Floyd accepted, Pacquiao looked for another way out and used blood testing as an excuse. Not Ortiz though, he wants the fight and is not going to let something so petty get in the way.

Against Mayweather he was way too small. Pac is still bigger, but he's not as big as PBF. Not to mention the style of PBF is to stay outside and counter, with his reach it was impossible for JMM to do anything. On the other hand, Pac will get inside and trade shots. I think it'll be a closer fight than you guys are thinking...we'll see though.
