last night on anderson cooper 360 ( yes i was watching it while on the computer ) The mayor of New Orleans was scheduled to appear in person and have an interview with cooper about his racial comments on New Orleans returning to be a "choclate New Orleans", The mayor cancelled just before the show started when the show aired LIVE and anderson announced that the mayor had cancelled for "Emergency Reasons." This is where it gets funny...i guess the mayer was spotted just down the street at a high class restraunt in which he was on the 2nd floor, so the stood there live outside the building with cameras waiting for him to come out and explain himself...well i wasnt watching the entire time so im not sure he ever came out, my guess is he didnt. but its hilarious because cooper was ridin on him about pussing out on an interview then lying to avoid it...

i think somone needs to boot this idiot the fuck out of office cuz hes a loose cannon and he really dont do shit for his ppl, not to mention he along can be blamed for most of the people stuck in the hurricane because he failed to act 2 days late on the announcement to evacuate the city by at least 60%...


this dudes a clown and totally got ripped on through LIVE television and im sure he sat there and watched them clown him while he hid inside the restraunt.

oh yeah and i forgot to also mention that this disrespectful piece of shit corrupted an honorable speach about Dr. Martin Luther King jr, by pot shotting the President about the war in iraq....right in the middle of his speach....this guys a fuckin joke

New Orleans needs to be a good, rich white city where Anderson Cooper will fit right in. The way it should have been all along.

And that is fucked up about taking a shot at George when talking about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., because we all know how Pro-War Dr. King was. I'm sure if he were alive today he would endorse the war in Iraq, Afghanistan, the war on terror, the war on drugs and most importantly he would support President Bush 100%. I'm sure he would have been very pleased with how hurricane Katrina was handled.

i have no problem with his comments about New Orleans being a chocolate city as that's what it was before or what he said about Bush .. but Nagin needs to go. there are still people in the 9th Ward living in scummy houses with nowhere to go. i love how Nagin screams on tv about how everything is everyone elses fault yet i only see talking and no action.

i dont have a problem with that the dude said other then breaking a speach about a great man and taking political pot shots where they are not needed. he can shit talk the prez all he fuckin wants to just needs to find the right time to do it. I know what the fuck I'm talking about, do you? A substantial number of wealthy white New Orleans residents have openly suggested that Katrina presents a perfect opportunity to "rebuild New Orleans as a richer, whiter city." I think that's why the mayor chose to use the word "chocolate." He is trying to say that he wants the scattered black residents to return to N.O.



And for the record I'm no fan of the mayor.

i love how automatically people jump on this about the racial remark that isnt even the main point behind this thread....and just a little FYI he went public the day after saying such things and APPOLOGIZED for what he said....wiether he needed to or not isnt the topic at hand.....its lying about why he cancelled then he got cought eating down the street while cnn broadcasted live just outside the restruant....the dude aint too bright....

again the term choclate city isnt offensive ( to me anyways ) and the main point of the thread is about him getting cought in a lie on national television then seemingly being a coward and hiding in the restruant for 2 hours while CNN checked back several times....hilarious

What's the big deal about cancelling an interview with anderson cooper? Is he so important that the mayor of a city must appear? It's such a small thing to bitch about. Wow, he lied about why he canceled an interview for CNN. OH MY FUCKING GOD!!!

Our own president lied about how he got huge bruise on his face by saying he choked on a pretzel and fell down. He lied about the Iraq war. Bitch about those things, not canceling an interview with some nobody named anderson cooper

But I guess its funny if they filmed him eating a burger or some shit. Good for a laugh or two I guess.

It's like when Gore said he visited a particular disaster site with James Lee Witt, when it was really a deputy of James Lee Witt...Gore had visited 20+ other disaster sites with James Lee Witt, but the one he mentioned was in fact with his deputy!

Gore got called out and clowned by the national media as a "liar" and a "compulsive exaggerator". He obviously was looking for a piece of that "James Lee Witt" magic to rub off on his campaign (Witt must have been one of the most popular people in America!) and got caught with his hand in the cookie jar. Hah!

Good old liberal media! And this is a great example too, liberal CNN catching that racist Nagin with his chocolate city remarks....Chocolate city?? Everyone knows there were hardly any black people in New Orleans, they're all french, or "creole", which is basically a dark-skinned frenchman.

Nagin should be kicked out on his ass, and Anderson Cooper installed in his place, with fair and balanced 360 degree city administration.

^^lol yall makin it sound like im ridin anderson coopers or CNN;s dick, when really i just found it funny that dude NEEDED TO LIE about cancelling, then got cought up in the lie, thats the only reason i posted cuz i thought it was pretty funny, not once did i say "OMG HOW DARE HE CANCELL THE ALMIGHTY ANDERSON COOPER!!!!"

i just thought getting cought down the street at a restraunt and getting video taped was kinda humorous =)
