Man, first of all I apologize, I thought I had posted this in the Combat forum and thought maybe no one ever responded to it haha my bad.
I was trippin when I found out that a lot of people can't stand that dude. I did a search on him one day and all the stuff that came up were articles or message boards stuff of people hating on him. I couldn't really believe it.
His voice is annoying, and if anyone has the right to say they don't like this dude, it's me. People tell me I look like him every time he's on tv and I'm in the room. That's more annoying than his voice to me.
I felt like a total ahole when I met him and we were about to take a picture and I told him I was gonna freestyle battle him after we were done as a joke. He said, "oh, I was never any good at that...(pause) my brother was really good though." and he walked off. The picture didn't even come out as luck would have it and I ran into him again and told him it didn't come out. He was working and about to film another segment at a fight but he stopped and took another picture with me and said it was all good.
I think he's a really, really good boxing analyst and he really knows his stuff. The comparisons or observations of a fight in real time and his ability to see where a fight is headed is as good as anyone I've ever seen.
Overall, I really like having him on a telecast and meeting him in person made appreciate him that much more.
