so if i got an mp3 or wma or somethin, it's $35 for the restoration and $25 for the mastering. that's not bad. am i understanding that right?

It can probably be done for less than that, depending on the sound quality. If it's really bad, there may be no saving it. We'd have to hear it to get a better idea of what can be done.
