Marz was on the first dark lotus cd. Thats the only time ive heard him, and he didnt sound to bad. Cant be any worse than paul wall. Its funny how no one talks shit on paul, but when someone else tours with tech and is a lil diff than ur average rapper they start trash talkin

If that was the only shit you heard him on then listen to his new stuff... Im not one of the ones that toatally hate it, but just check it... I never even listened to the full Dark Lotus CD and i already know its different.. cuz he did try to go witha more "gangsta" "hood" vibe... Like i said. I WILL NOT LOSE is ticght and theres a few more... then theres a few i can do without..

I talked to High Speed and The Pack and the Heavy Hitters 08 tour and MARZ WILL be in Chicago May 1st fasho.. Just to clarify

I'm a Marz fan, glad to see him on the tour (if only for a few dates). Definitely looking forward to seeing him put it down in Chicago!

...and yea, dude has switched styles many times. went from industrial hip-hop to hardcore rap with metal guitars and now he does your basic run-of-the-mill mixtape/street rap with gangsta overtures in it. don't get it twisted: dude's actual flow improves with every album, and he works with his current sound very well. At the same time however, he drops SO many rap cliches in his rhymes. he was actually MORE original back in the day!
