The Buffalo Bills have traded running back Marshawn Lynch to the Seattle Seahawks for a 2011 fourth-round pick and a 2012 conditional pick, a Seattle team source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
that's a good upgrade for a small price to pay, 4th round pick, less than a million this year just over a million next year. that's peanuts. Plus he's only 24 years old so you figure if he does well and stays out of trouble that could be 5-6 years of productivity.
I love the way he plays too, a back that enjoys gettin hit and running over foos...I wish he was a raider, even tho we got 2 good backs, he would amp up the entire team and coliseum since Oakland is his true home
You don't think lynch will become the starter? Forsett is cool and all but I don't think he's an every down type of back he's just too small. I think lynch will be starter in a matter of a couple weeks.
Both the Seahawks and Rams are on the upside, Cardinals are unknown, and the 9ers are on the decline due to shitty ownership and upper management (who the fuck is running this team?)
I woke up feelin' like shyt today, I'm still sicker than a dog, kinda hung over, but the news I woke up to made me feel better, about Marshawn Lynch finally joining the Seahawks. I remember earlier this year there was an article about Lynch possibly joining the Seahawks, glad it finally happened. Hopefully their run game will pick up now, not saying Lynch is our saviour, though.
I wonder what number he'll wear since Marcus Trufant already wears #23, maybe #22 once Julius Jones gets fired?
