Why would they enslave us? (not directed at you, just anyone who thinks aliens would have to enslave humans)
If they are far superior, it would be equivalent to that of man stumbling across an ant colony. We have no need to take over that ant colony and enslave the ants. We might observe the ants for a few moments out of curiosity and then move on. But who is to say a far superior being would even be curios?
The only possible scenario I could imagine is if there planet was near it's end and they were in search of a planet similar to theirs, and Earth happened to be very similar. But even that is such an unlikely possibility; the conditions here on earth would undoubtedly be very different from any other.
