everybody making excuses now dude only was 2 more pounds then marquez at weigh in. two pound isn't shit people acting like mayweather was 200 pounds picking on a 144 pound fighter. Dude just got out boxed he didn't win one round. Stop making excuses
no excuses. thats not why mayweather won. its just bitch shit on mayweathers part. and why would he refuse to talk about it? if there are any excuses its mayweather coming up with reasons for not fighting mosley. how funny that he always brags about how he makes all his decisions and is his own boss, but when he had kellerman, bhop, and mosely in his face telling him to just give mosely his fight, he says that al heyman and whoever else takes care of making his fights. i think mosley would of whooped his ass right there if triple h hadnt been back there

They were hatin' on Floyd because it was such a dominant performance...and he's still undefeated!

uh no...kellerman praised him for such a great performance. they were hatin on him for dodging questions and dodging a fighter who most boxing fans believe is the most deserving and the best match up for floyd.

kellerman was about to say "it seems that with your selection of fighters..." and everyone knew exactly where he was going, especially may, so what does he do?..yanks the mic from kellerman and goes "ima do the talkin cause youre doing too much talkin.." now we all see why he's down to fight pac. the size advantage he had with marquez was quite evident...he made a great fighter look anything but great....but like kellerman said "a great big man beat a great little man".....pac is also a little man and i think itll be the same story if he steps in with mayweather..i dont see him being able to penetrate mays body covering and backwards running. mosley on the other hand might..and i think floyd knows it.

roger definitely knows it....Roger Mayweather quote:

“Mosley has way more skills than Pacquiao ever will. I got nothing bad to say about Shane. He is big, strong, fast, and knows his sh*t. That is the best fight for my nephew in terms of fight status and testing your skills.”

He went on to say that “Mosley has the skills to pay the bills. If my nephew fought Mosley, that would be the biggest fight in the sport.

I thought the fight was boring as hell
To most it was....But if you like technical boxing than that was a great fight......Mayweather Picked him apart for 12 rounds......And the shape you have to be in and the conditioning they do makes me respect the sport even more......Id like to see Money may fight shane so he can silence the critics about this big man little man shit.......Floyd has fought many top knotch fighters and won......Still he gets little respect from most....If he was more humble he would appeal to more people and get more respect....But it is what it is and just because he's a loud mouth, dosent mean hes not one of the all time greats to walk in the ring......Money may is a great fighter.....40-0....

may did not whoop marquez' ass, but just completely out-boxed him.
marquez came out of that fight with a cleaner face than he ever has in the recent past.
I'd call that an ass whoopin!! Did you see the look on Marquez' face? It was a look of a defeated man, he couldn't do shit and floyd was landing at will (although floyd is just too defensive too really pound away on him).

that whole weight shit was bullshit on mays part. coming in overweight to official weigh in then refusing to be unofficially weighed on fight night...wtf is that?!?
Well to be fair it's not mandatory to "unofficially" weigh in, a lot of fighters choose not to do it for various reasons.

he was probably nearly 160lbs
He was probably around 155 but that's pretty typical for welterweights. Miguel Cotto usually weighs about 158-160 pounds on fight night and that's how much he'll weigh against Pacquiao. Margarito, Kermit Cintron, Shane Mosley, Paul Williams and Clottey all weigh in around 160 on fight night (all of them are welterweights). That's the nature of the sport and the day before weigh in.

max kellerman did an awesome post fight interview
I thought Kellerman was a complete douchebag for not allowing mayweather to talk, he kept cutting him off and after Shane's rude interruption (although it made for good TV), floyd wanted to talk and kellerman bitched out, "JIM!" and cut floyd off. So floyd didn't get a chance to say anything really.

after seeing this one i no longer believe pac could take may (too much size) but lets go sugar shane! mays been dodging him long enough
Well wait a second homie, get your facts straight. Shane Mosley had TWO opportunities to fight Mayweather in the past, TWO. And he turned them down TWO times. Once was a fuckin toothache excuse and the other time was because his partner, Oscar, stepped in and fought Floyd instead.

So while I would LOVE a Mayweather vs Mosley fight, Shane did have opportunities to fight in the past and floyd certainly didn't duck him.

^^^damn it 206 why cant you just accept the fact that i hate that fuck face floyd mayweather!!! lol

i love jmm. i love mexican boxing. its what ive grown up watching since i was a little kid. i honestly believed he would win despite all the odds mainly because ive watched his fights and its like a parent believing in his son no matter the circumstances.....and to add to that, bc floyd is so opposite of everything a mexican boxer is, ive always and will probably always underestimate him. i give him credit for a great performance, but i still dont like the dude...not just based on the persona hes created but i personally dont like his style (and not cause its boring). and i honestly still dont consider what he did as an ass whoopin. ive never seen marquez defeated like that before, but ive seen guys hurt him far more. so obviously i loved max kellermans inteview. it was a bright ending to a dark fight for me to watch.

but now its time to look ahead. mosely may have dodged mayeather before, but after the de la hoya fight, he should of been the next in line....ricky hatton?!?...i dont give a fuck how much fans he has, that guy fuckin sucks! if not mosely then cotto, or margarito...but hatton?! what i realized is that while i knew that hatton stood no chance against may when they fought, on saturday night i was exactly like all those english fanatics who were convinced ricky would do it. just cause marquez was one of my dogs i overlooked the fact that floyd handpicked him for a reason. so enough of that bullshit on mayweathers part. pacquiaos gonna be more of the same shit. its looking like if anyone could do it its mosely. he may have turned down the fight before but hes been ready and now is the time and everyone else is ready to see it. now its up to floyd. and if anything that whole post fight altercation just set the stage for a bigger buzz and thus bigger money...just to make floyds decision easier.

on a related note...going back to the mexican stable of boxers: canelo alvarez, the young mexican prospect....now that kid looks like hes about ready to start dropping dudes in the welterweight division. alvarez vs mayweather in mexico ???? and on telemundo ????? cmon floyd you big pussy

I'm not a fan of Ricky Hatton either but lets face it, Floyd follows the money more than anything else and at that point in time Hatton was the biggest payday (you have to count the US PPV sales and the UK ppv sales, plus at gate sales, plus sponsors). Is that respectable, chasing the money? No. But you're right, looking forward he has an option of fighting either shane mosley or the pac/cotto winner. I'm hoping for both. He did say he has a "hit list" of opponents, so to me that means he's going to be around for atleast 3-5 more fights.

And of course, we all love & appreciate the typical Mexican style of fighting, it's that warrior mentality of never giving up that is so exciting. But lets face it, put that style against a pure boxer and 9 times out of 10 the pure boxer wins. Maybe it's not as exciting but that's usually the case.
