may did not whoop marquez' ass, but just completely out-boxed him.
marquez came out of that fight with a cleaner face than he ever has in the recent past.
I'd call that an ass whoopin!! Did you see the look on Marquez' face? It was a look of a defeated man, he couldn't do shit and floyd was landing at will (although floyd is just too defensive too really pound away on him).
that whole weight shit was bullshit on mays part. coming in overweight to official weigh in then refusing to be unofficially weighed on fight night...wtf is that?!?
Well to be fair it's not mandatory to "unofficially" weigh in, a lot of fighters choose not to do it for various reasons.
he was probably nearly 160lbs
He was probably around 155 but that's pretty typical for welterweights. Miguel Cotto usually weighs about 158-160 pounds on fight night and that's how much he'll weigh against Pacquiao. Margarito, Kermit Cintron, Shane Mosley, Paul Williams and Clottey all weigh in around 160 on fight night (all of them are welterweights). That's the nature of the sport and the day before weigh in.
max kellerman did an awesome post fight interview
I thought Kellerman was a complete douchebag for not allowing mayweather to talk, he kept cutting him off and after Shane's rude interruption (although it made for good TV), floyd wanted to talk and kellerman bitched out, "JIM!" and cut floyd off. So floyd didn't get a chance to say anything really.
after seeing this one i no longer believe pac could take may (too much size) but lets go sugar shane! mays been dodging him long enough
Well wait a second homie, get your facts straight. Shane Mosley had TWO opportunities to fight Mayweather in the past, TWO. And he turned them down TWO times. Once was a fuckin toothache excuse and the other time was because his partner, Oscar, stepped in and fought Floyd instead.
So while I would LOVE a Mayweather vs Mosley fight, Shane did have opportunities to fight in the past and floyd certainly didn't duck him.
