WWE News: Fireworks Malfunction Video Footage Online, WWE Comments On The Incident

-- TMZ.com has posted footage of the fireworks malfunction from WrestleMania. Everyone is incredibly lucky that the injuries were minor - this could have been a catastrophy. You can see the video here.
-- WWE.com issued the following statement in regards to the fireworks incident that occurred at the conclusion of last night's WrestleMania pay-per-view:

ORLANDO, Fla., March 30, 2008--We're investigating the incident and doing everything we can to find out why it happened and to make sure it never happens again. While we apologize to anyone who was injured and/or alarmed by this occurrence, we take solace in the fact that the reported injuries were minor.
-- The Associated Press has also picked up on the fireworks story. Not a lot of new information, but they did speak to a spokesman from the local fire department. According to the fire department,a cable holding fireworks fireworks collapsed at the end of the show, sending hot embers from the fireworks into the crowd. There were burn injuries "up and down the stadium."
