Its not typical of gangsta rap, a lot of my homies listen to ragga and they exactly say the same thing..."its not as tight as that shit used to be...",same thing for the metal and the list probably goes on...Shit what happens ?

these days... I agree... that new gangsta rap is for suckers...

the classic stuff under this sub-genre though is unbeatable in many cases... in its own respect...

I think tha whole gangsta rap exists thanks to MAINSTREAM; (radio, videos etc.) if you think about it this wouldn't be as big as it was (while it lasted) without mainstream. I mean after a lot of people, (not everybody) hears for example "Death Row" it tricled down to the more Undergroun shit, and that's what made the "west coast sound", therefore everybody in Cali automaticaly goes with that vibe when they come out with their own shit, not realizing that they're stuck in tha past. But my point is if we're so tired of that shit all the time, why don't we be pioneers and bring some Original shit to the mainstream- just to lead everyone else outta this old shit, i mean it's a dirty job, (and when i say dirty i mean DIRTY) but someone's got to do it right?

cats are trying to advance it... but you got alot of dudes who are stuck in the past when it comes to listening too... and don't want anything to do with something "different".
