A San Francisco 49ers fan fell 20 feet to his death Sunday at Monster Park, from an upper concourse railing down onto a ramp, a team official said.
The death was ruled an accident by police and medical examiners, said Lisa Lang, 49ers vice president of communications. Authorities were withholding the adult male fan's identification pending notification of family, she said.

"It's a very unfortunate incident and everyone with the 49ers is upset about it," Lang said.

The fan was on the upper concourse level near concession stands during the second quarter of the team's game against the Minnesota Vikings. The fan somehow fell over a four-foot high, six-inch thick wall, with a top that slopes toward the concourse to prevent people from placing drinks on it, Lang said.

The man landed on a ramp leading to the mezzanine level, Lang said.

Emergency crews reached the man immediately and treated him for about 30 minutes before he was pronounced dead at the scene, Lang said.

The fan attended the game with a group of people, but it was unclear who they were. There were witnesses who spoke with police, Lang said.

The last accidental death at the park was in 1985 during a Monday Night Football game, Lang said.

ouch, was he drunk or something? Someone push him?
I felt like doin the same thing many times this season. Especially when I heard from Matt Maiocco that Nolan is seriously considering Dildo for the starting job next year. If that's the case Nolan should be fired on the spot.
