That's just pure hate right there at it's finest, Saying his catalog isn't good. AP9 has never been my favorite rapper, but I won't say all of music isn't good. I do like some of his music, but to say he's a better rapper than Wax is not on point. I don't think that Savage Times is Wax's best. He has plenty of good solid cds, including the Street Album. The Street Album slaps.
If this was the 90's then, AP9 would wouldn't even be a rapper because his rappin skils aren't very good....maybe he'd still be a barber. Your comment about the 90's doesn't make any sense..Wax is a way better rapper than AP9....not even close. Good music is good music no matter when it comes out. IMO You're wrong with that comment. It's not their fault that the bay area rap game has fallin off. Wax just keeps making solid music album after album mixtape after mixtape.
Ya well Ap9's style fits well for mob music and guess what that is what was popular in the 90's and bay rappers were very good at it. Its not pure hate its the consensus of most people that dont fuck with the Siccness that A-wax and his "music" is wack. Just cuz you like A-Wax so much doesnt make him a good rapper. Seriously though. I really don't give a shit what others think...I listen to good music and music I like. Wax makes good music. You act like you dont listen to him because he's not so called cool. Are you going to get made fun of him or something if you listen to him? I just don't get it.... To me that's high school stuff. Do you just like AP9 because he's considered cool because he got shot 9 times?

Put it this way, of you say Wax wouldn't have been good in the 90's you'd have to say the same about AP9 then because Wax>Ap9...not even close on the mic as far as spits and lyrics.

Again Ap9 sounds good on mobb type beats, the most classic beats in the 90's were mobb type beats, what is there not to understand? ap9's raps = writing a one liner and yelling it, regardless of what kind of beat it is.
a-wax raps = taking time to write a interesting verse with lots of wordplay, and then listening to the beat to decide how the verse will be delivered

T-RIP IS out of his mind......doubt he has even heard a wax cd yet....ap's first album w/ donedeal was slap but from there his lyrics and music took a turn for the worst imo and has turned me away from being a fan...wax jus makes better music point blank and half the cats hatin on wax have never even gave his music a chance yet....and a quick question: how do you hit the billboards and be on a konvict roster off of just siccness exposure? especially when 3/4 of the siccness hates on em?
