Made mistakes?

I think a lot of artists could learn from this. Engineers and producers talk. Word travels about how artists get down in a session... but the biggestthing is the money. When you pay for studio time I don't think it takes too many times before you realize that getting distracted costs you money. Even If somebody else is frontin the money, its still all bad.
much respect to those artist tellin the real. No sense everybody else making the same mistake.
My biggest mistake was probably paying for promotions in areas we weren't present in. Also, burning out the artists passing out flyers. A lot of wasted manpower

The one mistake I made while recording GAME THEORY was, I fucked with cats who aren't as passionate as I am and don't take shit as seriously as I do. Granted, we had flat rate studio time, so wasting time didn't waste $$!! When I go to the studio, I go there to work, and I take as much time as I need in order for shit to come out how I want it...some cats in this project weren't like that. They would come into the studio, tryin to bring hoes up in there, who distracted everybody until I kicked 'em out...or they would be bullshittin about somethin not having to do with music....it was a real mess sometimes.
About sales and what not, spent all the money on recording and pressing and didn't save any for promotions. SO, we are purposely sittin' on all the units until we get everything straight, then we're going to officially put it out there. We're still gettin' units off to cats who hit us up for it, but we're not really out pushing it yet, we still have some things to take care of before we do that!!
