if dirty money album couldnt reach the success they thought it would be then this guy def wont believe that. like i said before only reason diddy signed him was to steal a new style and have a new ghostwriter not to mention jump on the white rapper train.

this is probably the first contract he was offered and he jumped at it immediately. didnt even get anyone to read it over i bet
i heard about this dude a long time ago he was homeless sleeping on the streets and then supposely signed to bad boy last year(maybe a developmental contract then) thats why they had him on them promo tours.

Its hard for me being 26 to get into content that 18,19,and 20yo artists are speaking on. They really have to have some kinda struggles, crazy upbringing, or shitty situations for me to really feel what they are saying through my car speakers/headphones.
My boy recently was trying to get me on Mac Miller, and Im like, ok. Everyone of these songs you are playing for me is about smoking good, dressing fresh, and chasing paper. Alrite, cool. But what has Mac Miller really been through? Has he been down and faced some real time? Did he find one of his loved ones dead with a needle in their arm? Has his main girl got knocked up by his closest homie, or visaversa? Im not saying I have been through these situations, but hearing a rapper like Pac or Raided or Tech tell their story of some fucked up shit that they have been dealing with or delt with, helps me and inspires me to get through any little shitty thing in my life that Im dealing with. Thats the kinda rap I love. Some deep painful shit. No emo, just depth and realness. I just dont see it with some of these new rappers. Maybe I am just out of touch and dont really know the whole story behind their rhymes.
That all being said, I read this thread, downloaded "Laced Up", and I think this was my favorite track:

Dude is cool. Some of his shit was getting old after a few tracks. I understand he is from Cleveland. That shit was getting kinda annoying after a while, cuz he incorporates it into everyother bar. Maybe its because I could give a fuck about CLE, and maybe it would have been different if he was saying how much he loved N Salas. But other than that, after getting more polished/experience, I dont see why he wont make it. Im sure diddy will have him flossin a maybach w/ a few bitches, and a couple of bottles of patron/cristale/lean/candy coronas/ whatever the fuck mainstream fucking carboard cutout rappers are dringing these days.
Damn. More bitter old man status everyday I guess.

The thread it not about some fast rap competition but about if hes good.....anyway my favorite rapper is Z-Ro but his fast rapping days are over and most shit he drops lately wasnt better than MGK album. Just being honest and not on some stan shit...

god damn whats up with all these white rappers popping up. its like what d.l. hughley said about that racist baseball player in original kings of comedy... "1.. 2.. 3.. ok thats enough god damn it". this just proves that rap is dead and this new generation is just raping the body. fucking eminem left the door open and let all the white trash in. all you need is some tatts and some black people in your video to show you are down. good thing he signed with bad boy tho because after his first album drops diddy is going to spin that wheel of fortune and choose mgks fate. will he be shot or sent to jail? this could probably be diddys first artist to overdose.
