pc users are like people from texas who take great pride in where they're from and don't ever want to accept that deep down inside they know california is the shit...and try to make a list of reasons why living in texas is better than cali. for many its really just the cost of living that keeps them away.
mac users are like californians who know what they have is the shit, and may brag about it here and there, but they just know for sure cali is the best and they would never want to live in texas....even if the cost of living is more

This is funny because it's completely opposite. Mac users are like snobby elitists, oh look at me I have a mac and it's cool therefore I am cool.
PC users can have various operating systems and billions of different uses, etc.
Most mac users use mac's because they think it's trendy. Besides the video editors that have very specific needs, the common mac user uses it because they think they are being cool and different.

people hate on apple too much. from my experience, even if there product is a bit more expensive than a competitor, it usually is a better product. better designed and better constructed. the only product of apples that i have used that wasnt as good as competitors was the iphone. i played around with a mac book pro for a bit and i can honestly say i think that that computer was built 10 times better than my toshiba labtop. also their warranty service is fucking good. i fucked up my iphone cos i put the sim in the wrong way and took it in and within 5 mins i had a new phone.
and graphic design/motion graphics.
I work at an ad agency and all the designers/art directors/creative directors/motion graphics people/flash designers & animators are all on macs. the only people who use pcs are programmers/developers/software engineers... and of course project managers/account people who pretty much only use their computers for email, word, and excel.

yeah i used to rock mac way back in the day cause my school used all macs (see mac supports education too)
but yeah pc users can get really riled up over this..texans too will get really pissed when people suggest texas isnt the greatest place in the world. they call californians snobby liberal elitists

I used PCs for over 10 years and after trying a Mac and seeing how user friendly it is, I stopped using PC more and more...now I never do.
The argument about Macs not having programs that PCs have is out the window now...you can find the same stuff or equivalent on a Mac now.
I just got tired of having to run stupid spyware/virus scanners and defragment every so often....there is way less maintenance needed on a mac.
Also Apple take into account design when they make products....it's all about the experience, menus, the way the OS flows, and the appearance of the computer/phone/whatever.....if you don't care about design and you've never used a Mac on a day to day basis and actually made it yours, you wouldn't understand why people prefer Apple products...
If the same company that's making the operating system is also making the computer/media player/phone....common sense tells you it's gonna work way better since it's all integrated.

The biggest reason I stick with PC's is that I like being able to tweak them and work on them my self and it is nice being able to build my own computer exactly how I want it. I also hate going to the apple store, I have been there 2 times with my mom to get her iPhone replaced and I thought the service sucked. They do make a quality product (maybe not the ipods everyone that I have ever had has broken) but they are too expensive for what you get hardware wise.
