Mac Mall Illegal Business (1994)- 10/10
Mac Mall Untouchable (1996)- 9.5/10
Mac Mall Illegal Business 2000 (2000)- 7.5/10
Mac Mall Immaculate (2001)- 8/10

I don't own his other albums but I'd pick up his first two albums right away, you cant go wrong with either one!

Illegal business and untouchable

I didn't like IB2000 or immaculate very much at all and never heard mackin speaks louder than words, you can't go wrong with his first 2 albums though.

I only got Immaculate & Mackin Speaks Louder Than Words. And out of them 2 I would go wit Mackin Speaks Louder Than Words--that shit was decent as hell. Immaculate had some cuts too.

As far as Mac Mall's solo CDs...

ILLEGAL BUSINESS--10/10 (one of the best Bay CDs ever. Period. Mall is at his lyrical best here).

UNTOUCHABLE--10/10 (Another essential purchase. Production's stepped up a notch, too, w/ Ant Banks and Cold 187um joining in for tracks).

ILLEGAL BUSINESS 2000--7.5/10 (more political than usual from Mall, but once you get used to it, it's a dope, if not perfect, CD).

IMMACULATE--8.5/10 (basically a mixture of issues-oriented songs and some macking/flossing as well. Some couldn't get w/ the production back in 2001, but I dug it).

MACKIN SPEAKS LOUDER THAN WORDS--8/10 (the two ballads in the middle bog this one down; otherwise, it's cool. Good features from J-Diggs, Sleep Dank, Sundae and--for one track--MAC DRE!!!).

PEACE!

I'd have to agree with these reviews except -.5 from Untouchable and give it to Mackin Speaks Louder Than Words.

Illegal Business is the CD that got me into Bay Rap, you CANNOT have a Bay rap collection without this CD.

MSLTW is underrated I think, it's got some classic fuckin tracks on it. Nigga Wake Up, All On A Bitch, Power Moves The Family, 5-3-5, I Mac Therefore I Am, Life So Far. FUCK it's almost tight all the way through.
