Mac/DVD ripping & burning

I was about to download roxio's popcorn from versiontracker.com but it was unavailable....it seems like a good ass program, the main thing that drew me to it was that it can compress a 8-9gb dvd onto a 4.7 gb dvd, with no need for dual layer....anyone used this? or heard about it?

there's also mac the ripper to rip the dvds (i can use toast to burn) and it should rip regardless of copy protection, but I dunno. what do y'all use?

Mac The Ripper to rip the DVD then use Popcorn to burn...The perfect combination right there...btw Popcorn is the shit...
