%50 of they covers literally are interscope artists i.e. g-unit, jadakiss etc. it dont mean they "buy out" XXL. i think its more that interscope stays in the news some how and it might be just marketing beefs promotions whatever, but they stay out there. that would deserve a cover IMO. yea mac dre is dope i love the man....but he was never in the public eye to DESERVE a cover or article, no matter how much we may think so. i think its great they did this and i also think they do have alot of bullshit articles that could be used on better things or more important things, but all it is is a matter of priorities at the company. i sincerely hope i don't offend anyone as i am a HUGE mac dre fan, his poster is the center piece of my home studio and i promote his music to anyone i can. once again this is a great thing XXL is doing, regardless of the size of the article. think about it...did any of you care when they covered soulja slim? camoflague? JMJ?

They got g-unit on the cover of their last issue, xxl has g-unit on this cover, whats the difference? My thing is covers sell the magazine and whats inside appeals to people who really listen to music so who else are you gonna put on the cover more than g-unit, like it or not they are running the game right now. I dont buy they shit but you cant hate on the their business. unless you are about being broke and complaining you gotta give it up to the boy 50's hustle.

I feel u man. Not only MD's article, but the fact that his name is on the cover is a pretty big thing. How many independent acts ever get their name on the cover. Plus this is a global publication and means only more pub for Mac Dre.

i say the same,...i love him,...but the dun's out east have the slit clue who he realy is,....and so the morjoty of they audiance ,...this is more so an introduction,.....cause i'm sure that they did not make it a big deal a year ago,......

but yeah i would have loved to see him on the cover,....but that's just what i want,.....not the actual person that pays for the ink and papper of the mag,....
