^^^ who gives a fuck, if it wasnt for 40 the bay wouldnt even be relevent. Its been only 40 putting it down for the bay how many years now? This forum is so fucken gay and its basically folks that think Mac Dre is better that be hating on 40's new album.

40 for me, but i grew up on 40. both are legends. 40, IMO, is a better technical rapper with a little more range, but both are dope as f***. both in my top 5-7.

mac dre made more of an impact on real bay area rap fans, e-40 has done so much for the bay its retarded and he's gettin money globally, more people tend to pick dre because he was a home team player, he was the bay, everywhere, every hood, every small town in northern california dre would big up to, he credibility never questioned, if it was challenged, everybody knew how dre got down, in and out the pin. I met dre at the hilltop mall, cool as fuck, him and miami just chillen.

e40 started off on some nationwide shit, gettin his money, you gotta respect that shit. He couldnt be deep in the bay streets like dre cuz theres more money to get than that. But he always represented where he came from and he stays consistent and to keep it real, HES ALL WE GOT, hes 40, tha bay needs to step it up and hit atlanta or some shit and try to get put on. He needs to cut them fuckin dreads tho.

E-40. I thought 40 woulda won this by far. I might have to rediscover Mac Dre tho. A few niggas had his shit back in the day and i listened but I never really fucked wit his music that tough.
