Mac Dre "Not My Job" sample or replay?

I was listening to "Not My Job" last night after looking over the photodoctors Thizz covers and I was wondering if that was a sample or a replay

I know the original is the Blackbyrds song from "City Life" that 2pac and Johnny J used but the beat on "Not My Job" sounds super clean like it my have been replayed.

I know One Drop does a lot of replays too but I think he also samples

an all time classic regardless

Anyone know?

when you say replay. do you mean remake?

I mean did the producer replay the keys and bass and other elements to create his own version of the song that was sampled. So yeah, remake works too.

Interpolation is the word you are looking for...There are a lot of people who can recreate someone else's beat and make it sound almost identical or even better...Sean T does a nice job of this.....
