I have an M-Audio sound card hooked up to my PC and to the mixer. I want to hook an amp up but I was told that I needed an octave cable if I want digital. Is it possible to do that with the m-audio or do I need to buy a different sound card. I’ve been checking out the EMU sound card incase I needed to change sound cards.

Also, if I don't have the receipt, I can sell the m-audio sound card to guitar center right? If so, any guess on how much they'd buy it for?

Thanks for the help.
