I am not disputing this, my point is that LT doesn't need to break off many tackles, because he is QUICKER and FASTER than Gore (He also gets better blocking). The point of the game is to score, and not run people over.

There is no need to take this argument any further...

^^^I AGREE WITH YOU IN THAT LT DOESNT NEED TO BREAK AS MANY TACKLES AS GORE,SO WE REALLY DONT SEE HE SKILL IN THAT AS MUCH AS GORE DOES.BUT BELIEVE ME WHEN I TELL YOU THIS LT CAN BREAK TACKLES WITH THE BEST OF 'EM.

NOW IF GORE BREAKS MORE TACKLES THEN LT,IT'S A RESULT OF HIS RUNNING STYLE.DOES THAT NECESSARILY MEAN HE'S BETTER THEN LT IN THAT ASPECT?MAYBE SO MAYBE NOT,BUT WHO REALLY GIVES A SHIT.MIKE ALSTOTT CAN BREAK TACKLES BETTER THEN LT.SO WHAT.POINT IS THAT'S JUST ONE ASPECT OF MAKING A BACK GOOD,BUT THERE ARE MANY OTHERS AND LT HAS IT ALL AND THAT WHAT MAKES HIM THE BEST PLAYER IN THE LEAGUE TODAY.

You act like we're not talking about the top 3 running backs in the league, and the top 2 running backs in the last 10 weeks or so.

Obviously IMO you would take the MVP and record breaking touchdowns, but if you're going to compare LT with anyone, is it really that jaw dropping to compare Gore.

I am a Running Back enthusiast, I know what LT can do. Like I said before he's my favorite RB in the league today, but people seem to be threatened of Gore's presence because as soon as I said he was better than LT at breaking tackles dude got all defensive of LT and couldn't fathom the thought of Gore doing something better than LaDainian.

I'm not talking about who has more broken tackles. It's quite obvious to anyone who watches games that LT goes down easier than Frank Gore once he gets wrapped up or hit. I don't care if LT can elude the tackler and therefor does not need to break off a tackle, I'm talking about the fact that when Gore and LT get caught by a defender, Gore has a better chance of getting away from it. Go watch film, and if you still honestly think I'm wrong I will not continue to waste my time.

I am not someone who just watches highlights of LT, I watch him every chance I get. I watch Gore every single week. I know what each is capable of and I know that LT is the better RB. But the arguement I'm making is obvious to anyone who isn't having fantasies of jerking LT off while hanging from his ball sac.

Dude's over there acting like I'm trying to discredit LaDainian. But I think the real reason this turned into such a debate is because Frank Gore is the other back in the discussion. If I had said some other back breaks tackles better than LT, nobody would have said shit.

People are mad because Frank Gore is already being brought up in the same sentence as LaDainian Tomlinson.
